FROM OUR BOHEMIAN HEART TO LONDON STUDIO
I spent my childhood in the Bohemian mountains of Krkonoše, surrounded by lush green hills, meadows filled with wildflowers, deep forests, and crystal-clear streams. I have always been a child of nature. The wisdom of herbs and plants was passed down to me—almost unconsciously—by my grandmother Jiřina and my parents, Eva and Mnislav. Every summer, we would gather medicinal plants, herbs, and mushrooms at our cottage, drying them, infusing them into oils, and creating special tinctures.
My fascination with the healing power of nature was always there, but it truly came to life when my son Jakub was born with severe eczema. Struggling to find pure, effective natural alternatives to conventional, chemical-based skincare, I turned inward—to everything I had learned—and began a deeper journey to study and understand the true power of nature.
Eventually, I moved with my family to the UK to be closer to the leading experts in natural cosmetic science. There, I had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s most respected laboratories to create what I believe are the finest naturally formulated skincare products—rich in active ingredients and uncompromising in purity.
In our small laboratory, we craft each of our luxurious botanical blends with love, mindfulness, and the purest intention. Every ingredient is chosen for a specific purpose. We never use fillers—meaning that nearly every ingredient is active. The result is pure, highly concentrated, and truly effective formulations that are rare in today’s skincare world—but you deserve nothing less. Yage is a family business founded by Petra, with the loving support of Jakub, Anna, and Jan, in their London home.

ABOUT NAME YAGE
The word Yage carries the magical essence of the Amazon rainforest. The sacred yage drink is prepared by the Amazonian Kofán tribe living along the Aguarico River—a place my father took me to many years ago. Yage is a mysterious force that, during sacred night ceremonies, transports them into an otherworldly realm where they can uncover the secrets of Mother Nature.
My father has spent over fifty years studying the Amazonian tribes and their unique ecosystem—home to thousands of endemic plants containing rare oils, pigments, poisons, healing compounds, and hallucinogens. For the indigenous people, for my father, and for me, Yage symbolizes the pure, untamed essence of the Amazon—the planet’s largest tropical rainforest, the lungs of the Earth, and a boundless source of healing and wisdom.
