Are all the ingredients truly natural?
With us, yes — and even in organic quality! We have taken great care in selecting our ingredients and use only the finest natural components available. Our range of natural ingredients includes herbs, floral and fruit waters, extracts, butters, clays, sea salts, natural oils, and patented active substances from world-renowned laboratories. All ingredients are Ecocert certified. Even our hyaluronic acid is absolutely unique. Its special fermentation-based production method creates molecules of various molecular weights, closely resembling the body’s natural production of this acid. This ensures better effectiveness and absorption into deeper layers of the skin. The only synthetic ingredient in our products is retinol, which we chose to include in our night oil for its essential anti-aging benefits. For essential oils, we follow the recommendations and standards of IFRA, which ensures their safe use.

Are your products truly vegan?
Our products are 100% vegan and not tested on animals. 

Where do you source your ingredients from?
This part of the production process is one of the most demanding for us, as we source ingredients from all over the world with respect for the environment and its resources. We carefully select only the purest, most effective, and unrefined organic-quality ingredients. Our suppliers are always verified and share our ethics and values. We always make sure that the ingredients come from renewable sources. For example, you will not find palm oil, rosewood oil, or other questionable ingredients in our products.

Do you use crystals, precious metals, and gemstones?
Yes, this element of nature is present in the vast majority of our products. Our elixirs are not only packed with potent botanical extracts but also infused with the vibrational energy of crystals and gemstones. Crystals are irreplaceable for us — they balance the body and mind and harmonize the entire organism.

What does Yage cosmetics not contain?
Palm oil, synthetic colors and fragrances, alcohol (alcohol is only present in our natural perfumes), synthetic preservatives, parabens, synthetic emulsifiers, cheap fillers, GMOs, mineral oils, phthalates, inorganic salts, heavy metals, SLS / SLES, sulfates, DEA, TEA and PEGS, silicones, and additives.

How are your products packaged?
We are strictly against the use of plastics! Therefore, most of our products are packaged in glass containers. Some are made from special ultraviolet glass to protect delicate botanical extracts. Glass packaging is recyclable and often reusable at home. When we do use plastic, it is fully recyclable and used only when absolutely irreplaceable — such as for refills.

Do you contribute to environmental protection? Do you support any projects?
Yes. We believe that everyone can help those in need — as the saying goes, “no one can do everything, but everyone can do something.” For each product purchased online, a portion of the sale is donated to a specific project. Currently, we support an organization working to help save the Amazon rainforest — www.granamazonia.cz. We consider this an essential part of our company culture.

What is the shelf life of Yage products, considering they are purely natural?
Because our products are truly natural and we do not use any synthetic preservatives, the shelf life is 6 months after opening. If stored away from direct sunlight, at room temperature or below, their usability will be even longer. All our facial oils, masks, salts, and scrubs are completely preservative-free! Products containing water are formulated with a lower pH to prevent bacterial growth. Here we use Ecocert-approved pentylene glycol or sodium levulinate or sodium anisate — compounds found in many plants. These substances are not classified as preservatives, but in the right combination with a suitable pH they allow natural preservation of the products. This method is more complex but offers safe, natural preservation. In facial oils, we use natural vitamin E to extend shelf life and keep the oil in its freshest and most effective form.

When is the best time to use a facial oil? Can I apply make-up after using the oil?
You can use facial oil anytime, preferably on clean skin. Ideally, prepare the skin with a toner and a hyaluronic acid essence for maximum effectiveness. Your face does not need to be completely dry. Apply make-up only after the oil is fully absorbed, approximately 3–5 minutes after application. During this time, you should enjoy a GUA SHA massage. The oil should fully absorb and not leave a greasy/oily feeling. With the correct amount, the skin feels hydrated, smooth, and supple. Most people need just 2 drops. For maximum effect, mix the oil with a serum to create your own unique cream!

YAGE cosmetics is a modern and technologically unique concept built upon ancient, time-tested wisdom. We call it a ritual because proper skincare requires more than just applying a “suitable” cream. For your skin to be healthy and in great condition, it needs a comprehensive approach. The YAGE ritual consists of several steps that everyone can learn and perform at home daily. With this, you provide your skin with everyday care “as in a salon.” Each step has its purpose and respects the individuality of every skin type. Multi-step care ensures that the highly concentrated active ingredients in each product can deliver maximum benefits. With the YAGE ritual, you truly understand your skin and give it only what it needs. We have divided the system into a numerical sequence that can be combined depending on the skin type. At home, you can choose the most suitable combination for your routine. By mixing oils or multiple oils with a serum /5+6/, you create your own uniquely tailored and fresh facial cream. Adding an essence /4/ provides advanced active care and comprehensive nourishment. As an added bonus, we offer the GUA SHA massage. Using the ancient massage stone made from rose quartz together with facial oil, you can reduce puffiness, boost circulation, rejuvenate, and energize your skin.
