my name is petra and yage is my life’s project. my son jakub’s severe eczema and the search for truly gentle care for sensitive skin led me to develop effective natural cosmetics. i combined the study of the healing power of plants with modern cosmetic science and, with the support of my family, created the yage brand.

i spent my entire childhood in the krkonoše mountains, surrounded by green hills, meadows full of wildflowers, deep forests and crystal-clear streams. i have always been a child of nature. the wisdom of herbs and plants was passed down to me quietly – from my grandmother jiřina and my parents eva and mnislav. every summer at our country cottage, we gathered medicinal plants, herbs and mushrooms, which we dried, macerated in oils and used to prepare tinctures.

i moved with my family to great britain to be closer to leading experts in natural cosmetic science. yage was born in london in collaboration with cosmetic scientist judy berling and leading laboratories around the world. together, we develop clean, effective natural cosmetics with a high concentration of active ingredients. every ingredient has a purpose in our highly concentrated formulations – with no unnecessary fillers.

the name yage comes from the amazon rainforest and refers to a sacred drink of the indigenous cofan people. my father introduced me to the amazon, where he has studied its nature and culture for more than fifty years. for me, yage symbolises the wisdom of plants, the purity of nature and conscious care – values on which our natural cosmetics are built.

most yage products contain only active ingredients and use floral hydrosols instead of ordinary water. patented actives, organic raw materials and innovative methods make it possible to create effective natural cosmetics without silicones, with minimal preservatives. each application thus becomes a conscious ritual of caring for your skin and yourself.

yage cosmetics combine the principles of korean cosmetics with highly concentrated natural formulations. the korean skincare ritual prepares the skin for active ingredients, helps soothe it and supports its natural radiance. the result is effective skincare complemented by aromatherapy.

yage represents clean beauty based on clean and transparent formulations. our cosmetics are free from silicones, synthetic fragrance, parabens, mineral oils, palm oil, sls/sles, peg and other unnecessary fillers. most products contain no preservatives; for formulations with floral or fruit waters, we use only gentle preservatives approved by the cosmos standard.

yage products are vegan and we do not test them on animals. we choose natural ingredients grown sustainably and under fair conditions. we create effective vegan cosmetics with respect for nature, people and animals.
